How To Invest

Trading made simple following our step by step.

  1. Obtaining an investor number through one of DSE's branches, via licensed brokers or via the DSE Mobile App available on iOS and Android.

  2. Choosing and appointing a broker through:

    Choose a licensed brokerage firm from the list.Go to find your broker page >
    Communicate with the selected firm and provide them with the required information.
  3. Start trading by placing orders to buy and sell shares. The investor can monitor share movements through trading screens at the Exchange, the Exchange's official website or brokerage firms' applications, and decide to buy or sell by:

    Entering sell and purchase orders using the brokerage firm's official website or mobile application.
    Communicating with a broker face to face or by phone and asking them to enter the orders.

Trading hours

The trading session is divided into five stages to enter the orders of buying and selling:

Closing
Pre-Open
Auction allows orders entry, amendments, or cancellation
Continuous Trading
Pre-Close
Auction allows orders entry, amendments, or cancellation
Trade at Last
Buy-in Session
Auction for trades that have failed settlement due to the seller failing to deliver the securities
